Bingo Clash Review: Not Your Grandma’s Bingo

I can remember sometimes when I was a little kid we’d play bingo at school, and I thought it was the worst game I’d ever played. There was so much waiting involved, plus everything was totally left up to chance, so there was no way to get better at the game.

Flash forward a few years, and — don’t ask me how — I’ve gone crazy for bingo. But I guess it’s not really the same game. Since I’m always looking for legit ways to earn free cash playing mobile games, my favorite pastime, I was looking for new opportunities and came across the Pocket7Games app.

Since I downloaded it, I’ve been playing a lot of their version of bingo, Bingo Clash, and if you want to play bingo for money or free cash, I really can’t recommend it enough. You can check out my review below for my thoughts on the game and a couple of tips for playing.

What you need to know to get started

I’ll be honest, I’ve had the Pocket7Games app for a little while now, but I only recently started playing Bingo Clash, I guess because the whole idea of bingo seemed a little old-fashioned and boring. Turns out I was way wrong.

Yeah, some of the rules will be familiar. To get a bingo, you’ll need to mark all the numbers in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line. You can also get a bingo with the board’s four corners. You’ll get some extra points if your card has more than one bingo, so it’s in your best interest to keep looking around for extra bingos.

The called number will show up in the upper right corner. Then you’ll need to find it on your card and tap it — the faster you do this, the more points you’ll get, so it’s a good idea to try remembering how your board looks overall. I don’t have the quickest fingers in the world, but the game makes it pretty easy to get into a solid rhythm. When you’re focused, you’ll tap your numbers faster and rack up those points.

You can see in the screenshot that there are two diamonds in the lower left corner. Those are power-ups, which are part of what makes Bingo Clash so exciting. You’ll get power-ups for marking numbers, and you can use the diamonds to mark any number you want. So if you’re one number away from a bingo, the diamond can be a lifesaver by helping you max out your bingos. One of my favorite tips is to keep two diamonds in reserve whenever you can. That way you can use them rapid-fire when you need a quick boost.

The other power-up you’ll get is the Gimme More, which will show up as a G in the lower left corner of the screen. When you use it, you’ll be given a random selection of numbers. You will have to pick one, which you can then tap on your board — it’s not my favorite power-up, because usually I can’t remember which number would help me out the most, but it’s still useful if you’re trying to rack up points.

Overall, Bingo Clash is super intuitive and fun to play. It makes an old classic feel alive again. If you’re trying to play bingo for money, I don’t think there’s a better mobile version of the game out there. I’ve played a lot of games on Pocket7Games — you can check out their website for a full list — and the whole app is completely legit. You don’t have to take my word for it, though. Their Facebook page has a pretty strong community of players who like to chat about the games and their rules and give really specific tips you’d never think of.

I hope this review has been helpful. There are a couple of other games I really like on the app, like Fruit Frenzy, so maybe I’ll get around to reviewing those sometime soon. Until then, keep clashing!
